| Osteospermum ecklonis. Everyone loves a daisy and this one is a new azure-blue eyed daisy. Also known as Cape Marigold or African daisy because it is native chiefly to South Africa, the single-flowering osteospermum blooms in shades of rose, purple or a contrasting pure white. It blends well with other full-sun annual flowers. It does not need lots of water, and resists cold, disease and pests. Its compact plant habit is great for window boxes, planters and pots. Look for seed and four- to six-inch pots. |
