Plant Care - Cyclamen

Light: Indirect or bright-diffused light is best.  This is a well-lit location out of direct sun.
Water: Moderately moist soil is preferred.  Water thoroughly when just the soil surface is dry to the touch.  Do not allow plants to stand in water.
Temperature: Cool - Moderate - Prefers 60-70 daytime's and 55-65 nights.
Availability: Year round
Color Range: White, pink, lavender and red.
Lasting Quality: 2-4 months of continuous bloom.  Individual blossoms last 2-3 weeks.
Key Tips for Success: Bright, diffused light is necessary for Cyclamen buds to develop and bloom above their spreading rosette of leaves.  Cool night 50-60 extend the flowering period.  Watering-related problems include sudden leaf yellowing one or two days after wilting due to lack of water; this can also cause buds to shrivel and dry.  High temperatures and low light can also damage buds.  Be sure plant never stands in water and that there is no water in the crown at night as this encourages rotting
