Plant Care - Kalanchoe

Light: Bright light location is preferred.
Water: Maintain soil on the dry side.  Drench soil thoroughly, then allow it to become moderately dry before watering again.
Temperature: Moderate - Prefers 56-70 daytime's and 60-65 nights.
Availability: All year.  Most popular in March through September.
Color Range: Red, pink, salmon, orange, yellow, lavender.
Lasting Quality: 3-6 weeks.
Key Tips for Success: These colorful succulents retain decorative value as interesting foliage plants after the flowers have faded.  Bright light is necessary to sustain the flower colors.  Pale or bicolored flowers indicate too-low light.  Avoid over watering as this can encourage crown rot and powdery mildew.
