Plant Care - Peppers

Light: Bright light location is preferred.
Water: Moderately moist soil is preferred.  Water thoroughly when just the soil surface is dry to the touch.  Do not allow plants to stand in water.
Temperature: Moderate - Prefers 65-75 daytime's and 60-70 nights.
Availability: July through December.  Most common in August, September and October as potted plants.
Color Range: Yellow, orange, red and purple fruits
Lasting Quality: 1 -2 Months
Key Tips for Success: Oriental Peppers are tropical shrubs related to the tomato and potato.  They do well in the increased light and air circulation of porch or patio.  Their decorative fruit is usually edible but extremely hot.  Wilting can be a problem causing foliage loss.
