|

Availability: April through October. |
Color Range: Pale violet, blue and white. |
Lasting Quality: 3-4 weeks as and indoor potted plant. Continues to flower for 3-4 months if it can be planted outdoors in partly sunny location. |
Key Tips for Success: The bushy Exacum offers a profusion of fragrant star like flowers with prominent yellow stamens surrounded by waxy, oval leaves. Over watering can be a problem so be sure to provide good drainage. Warm, humid, bright "greenhouse" contagions will prolong flowering as will planting it outdoors if temperatures permit. |
